This belt buckle, by artist Don Dewa, similar to some of Dewa's previous work, features traditional Zuni Pueblo inlay work features a center sun-face that rotates to add motion and beauty. On the left hand side are two detailed feathers sit on the left-hand side of this buckle and on the right are two sun-faces sit on the right-hand side, bracketing a bear carved from rich jett. This vibrant piece features Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Coral, Jett, Lapis, & Mother of Pearl, making this belt buckle a stand-out in both artistry and color.
